Sanjeet Bhavnani BSc(Econ), MBA, DIC Managing Director
Sanjeet Bhavnani has twenty years Banking and Finance experience including working at BNP Paribas in fixed income origination and Goldman Sachs in the Asset management team. He has provided advice to a range of clients including multinationals, governments and, ultra high net worth individuals. He has gained particular expertise in alternative asset classes, including international private equity and real estate. Sanjeet holds an honours degree in economics from University College London, and an MBA from Imperial College, London.
Edwin Anthony MB, BCh, BA, BAO, Consultant Head of Healthcare Private Equity Group
Dr. Edwin Anthony graduated and practiced as a medical doctor for six years, and then moved into a full-time role as a director at Belgravia Capital. At Belgravia, he sourced and completed many high-value private equity and real estate deals in London and Europe. As a doctor, he worked in the surgical sub-sector specialising in plastic surgery. He also performed postgraduate research in the biotechnology sector within tissue engineering and drug development at the University of London. His background in both healthcare and private equity gives him an ideal platform to originate and structure deals within the private equity sector. He trained at Trinity College Dublin and holds membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Gintas Karpavicius BSc (Hons), Senior Adviser Head of Real Estate Group
Gintas Karpavicius has over ten years of real estate experience. He has worked for a special situations fund at a global hedge fund D.B. Zwirn & Co, alternative assets manager Harbert Management Corporation and LaSalle Investment Management. His particular geographical investment focus has been on Germany, Nordics and Central Europe covering outright acquisitions, development joint ventures and, mezzanine lending. Gintas holds a BSc degree from the London School of Economics and has also completed all levels of the CFA program. In addition to English, he is also fluent in Lithuanian, German and Russian.
Jason Knox MBA CGMA ACMA, Senior Advisor
Jason has over seven years of international banking experience. He has worked with the Leveraged and Sponsor Finance team in origination at GE Capital as well as with BMO Nesbitt Burns in wealth management. Jason has also completed an origination internship with the buy outs team of 3i Group in Manchester. Jason holds an honors degree in international relations from York University (Canada) and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Manchester Business School and is a qualified accountant. Jason has lived in Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Mahesh Pagarani BA (Econ), MBA, DIC, Consultant Head of Africa Private Equity Group
Mahesh Pagarani has over ten years of international banking experience, principally at Citigroup. He has spent the last seven years as a director building the multi-asset structured products business for the consumer bank in the EMEA region. He has also previously worked as a senior relationship manager, dealing with investment solutions for high net worth clients. He will now be based in both London and West Africa where he will build on existing client relationships with corporates and high net worth groups. He holds an honours degree in economics and politics, and an MBA from Imperial College, London.
Sanjay Sree BA (Hons), Dip IT, Consultant
Sanjay Sree was a director of Kensington Park Estates, a real estate investment company that specialised in sourcing investment properties for high net worth client groups. He has over eight years real estate experience in the UK and in key emerging markets. He previously led the offshore team for GE network solutions. He has formed strong local and international relationships in the markets in London and South Asia. Sanjay graduated with honours from the University of Mysore with a BA in Public Administration.
Anand Sunderji BSc(Hons), Senior Advisor
Anand Sunderji has over seventeen years investment management experience most recently working at Guggenheim in Mumbai where he was the co-head of the Indian fund of funds and responsible for making investments into India private equity partnerships and managing investor relationships globally. Prior to Guggenheim he co-led the Asian fund of funds business at Adveq in Zurich. He has also held positions as the Head of Investors at the World Economic Forum in Geneva and New York and as a Senior Portfolio Manager at INVESCO in London. Anand has a BSc in Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
